More Bra BS

OK so I wore the black Chantelle 34H bra on Monday and it was agonizing. As soon as I put it on I could see that the cups were too big. However, I had washed my purple bra the night before and it was still damp, so I wore the black bra anyway. All day it was hurting me- the wires were too big so they were cutting into my chest in a horrible way. You never know how well a good bra is engineered until you wear one that doesn't fit. Ouch.

So today I went back to Nordstrom and the bra lady (after again commenting on how stretched out the band on my purple bra has become) and she moved me into a 34G and that was great. I exchanged both bras for the same ones in the smaller size and came home. I decided to try on the black bra and wear it tonight to see how comfy it is. It feels very tight in the band and the wires feel very bulky. Also the straps dig into my shoulders more than I would like. However, it's pretty comfortable for all that... I can breathe and feel okay at the moment. However, when I put it on and looked in the mirror, it just looked a little tight. My boobs were kind of squished to the sides, under my armpits, which I don't like. The sales lady kept raving about how "up" they were in this bra, but they actually look weird to me in terms of the way they are pushed up... kind of flattened.

(Also just now when I changed my shirt I saw that the right cup already has a little rip, grrr! It's gotta go back for that at the very least.)

I compared it to my purple bra side by side and the cups on the Empreinte bra are larger. Both 34G, but the Empreinte bra has larger cups and they are shaped differently. It looks like the Chantelle bras just aren't right for me... so back to the drawing board, I guess. This is really frustrating. The Empreinte bra fit me better than any bra I've had before, but it also cost twice what these bras cost.

I guess I will go back to Nordstrom next week... we're going out of town this weekend so I will have no time before then :/ God this is so frustrating. Why can't I have NORMAL-sized breasts? Argh.
