Does anyone know the general time before someone who leaves the mansion usually comes back, if they ever return at all? Is it unusual that they forget the events they experienced during their previous stay? Or is it the normal condition? A detailed response would be best, but any information is appreciated.

It's been known to happen. But their disappearance and return are both very unexpected.

It's assumed they go back to their world. From what I've seen, when they return, they are usually from a different time than they were the first time around. Some retain their memory, some don't, but I don't know the details about that.

She is the one in charge. Because of that, I'm assuming she also issues the events and controls the mirrors on the other side.

Very well. Every now and then an event is posted in the form of a riddle. These events are (apparently) taken from the memories of people living in this mansion. I'm sure you can at least imagine how chaotic that can become without me explaining it.
