So many teachers fail at technology so badly that it's almost like the schools need to get a computer expert just to show them the ropes or do it for them or something ...

Yes, it's just awful. There were no white spaces on the scans at all; all of the backgrounds were this awful grainy gray. :|

Do not expect most of professors to make anyone's life easier. They are professors after all >.>;

I suppose that's so. . . . Although I have some suspicions that perhaps what's really behind it is that they just don't know how to use a scanner.

Probably not only a scanner... Most of these I know can barely use a computer.
